The Systems and Analytics Specialist helps turn reliable data into useful information for decision-making across the company. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role supports BisTrack and other business systems, develops reports and dashboards, and works with Finance and Operations to improve processes and resolve system issues. The specialist also supports financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting to help leaders understand results and plan ahead.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in BisTrack’s hosted environment.

The Estimator will be responsible for:

• Completing accurate cost estimates and collecting quotes from contractors for residential and commercial construction.
• Develop multiple alternate project plans and schedules.
• Prepare budgets from preconstruction design information. 
• Collecting all pertinent documents, including property plans, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Determine project scope and contribute to preconstruction meetings to determine bid strategies. 
• Completing all labour, material, scheduling, and other necessary items associated with estimating for the entire project. 
• Tracking priorities for the estimating department across all internal departments.
• Working with project teams to meet all deadlines.
• Creating material quotes in BisTrack according to standard operating procedures.
• Other duties/tasks as assigned.

The Estimator will have:

• 3-5 years of experience as a construction estimator (including labour, material, and trades quoting experience for both residential and construction).
• Relevant post-secondary education in a construction-related discipline is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the building envelope for both residential and commercial construction.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail as well as related math, technical, and calculating skills.
• Exceptional quantitative skills.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, conscientious, and well-spoken.
• Experience with BisTrack and Procore is considered an asset.

The Yard & Warehouse Associate (Forklift) is directly responsible for helping plan, organize, and ship materials for multiple projects.

The Yard & Warehouse Associate will be responsible for:

• Picking and preparing orders for customers and projects based on the sales order.
• Receiving and stocking all incoming inventory
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Tagging / labelling information on stock
• Assisting and/or completing cycle counts, as needed, to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard, warehouse, and storage facilities
• Rotating, culling, cleaning, and organizing yard inventory, as required
• Reviewing, completing, and complying with all equipment and/or vehicle inspections
• Loading and unloading vehicles and/or equipment when required
• Providing customer service to all vendors
• Complying with safety requirements and Company policies
• Other duties as assigned.

The Yard & Warehouse Associate will have:

• Forklift licensed or experience to operate a truck-mounted forklift.
• Basic knowledge of routine maintenance (e.g., checking oil, gauges, fluid levels & tire pressure).
• Lift and carry up to 100lbs for an extended period of time.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Support is directly responsible for the pickup and delivery of loads by operating the 1- or 3-ton truck.

Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Support will be responsible for:

• Performing daily pre-trip inspections of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment, including electronic inspection reports. 
• Following written and verbal instructions from the Shipping Supervisor for deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload trucks, vehicles, and equipment—by hand when required—ensuring all loads are properly secured and compliant with safety and legal standards. 
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for projects and customers according to sales orders. 
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize incoming inventory in the yard and warehouse. 
• Tag and label products with relevant details (e.g., Sales Order #, Purchase Order #, customer reference). 
• Assist with and/or complete cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard, warehouse, and storage areas. 
• Verify load counts against paperwork and complete all required documentation, submitting it promptly after runs. 
• Provide customer service to vendors, customers, and delivery contacts. 
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Class 5 Driver and Yard/ Warehouse Support will have:

• A valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License
• Clean driver’s abstract
• Forklift licensed or experience to operate a truck-mounted forklift
• Basic knowledge of routine maintenance (e.g., checking oil, gauges, fluid levels & tire pressure)
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs for an extended period
• Willingness to work weekends if required

Matix Lumber Inc. is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated professional with on-site construction experience and strong knowledge of building materials, who can provide high-level customer service to our clients. 

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day project activities, manage project teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will be responsible for planning, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance.

The Construction Project Manager: 

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of construction projects.
• Monitor progress, adjust timelines, and proactively solve issues to keep projects on track.

The Construction Project Manager will have:

• 3–5 years of experience managing construction projects, with a track record of delivering on time and on budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and project controls.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and change orders with confidence.
• Effective leadership skills with experience coordinating teams, subcontractors, and multiple projects.
• Proven track record of managing safety, workforce coordination, and project execution. 
• Ability to interpret and apply drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and schedules. 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
• Proficiency in Procore or similar project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
